Jeff Fina, Vice President
Jeffrey R. Fina, Vice President of Michael C. Fina, is an innovative merchant with a strong background in specialty retailing. Jeffrey has established a reputation for helping to build upon a successful family operation and retail organization that is dynamic, visionary and forward thinking.
Jeffrey’s business philosophy is based upon three fundamental precepts: the product assortment must cater to the needs and aesthetic sensibility of the modern consumer, the level of customer service must be outstanding, and the store must become an indispensable destination for the customer. In addition, he believes in maintaining an extensive inventory of the finest merchandise, offering customers unsurpassed value and providing sales associates with incomparable product knowledge. Jeffrey has spent most of his life working in all aspects of the family business, from warehouse operations and customer service, to merchandising and quality control. Since becoming Vice President in 1999, he is noted for optimizing and streamlining the company’s operations, as well as obtaining certification under the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. Jeffrey is also credited with expanding the company’s branded sterling silver and silverplate flatware collections from the original three patterns to 24 patterns, restructuring of the store’s jewelry department and development of its timepiece collection. In 2002, Jeffrey spearheaded the opening of Michael C. Fina’s Ring Gallery; a 600-square-foot bridal ring boutique featuring a selection of thousands of the world’s finest engagement and wedding rings.
Jeffrey serves as the Vice President of the New York State Jewelers Association and is affiliated with the Direct Marketing Association, the National Retail Federation, the Gemological Institute of America, the Better Business Bureau, the Grand Central Partnership and the Long Island City Business Development Committee. Additionally, he sat on the Retail Advisory Board to the Bridal 2005 trade show and served as a bridal industry expert for panel events hosted by InStyle Weddings and WeddingChannel.com.
Jeffrey holds a bachelors degree from the University of Florida.
