Mark Ellis, Chief Financial Officer
Mark Ellis, CPA, ACA, has served as Michael C. Fina Chief Financial Officer since 1998. He is responsible for the accounting, treasury, business development and human resource functions of the company. Prior to joining Michael C. Fina, he held similar roles at Chanel, Bruckner Supply and Integrated Cable where he honed his strategic business and HR skills.
Mark launched his career in public accounting and business consulting in the United Kingdom where he qualified as a chartered accountant. He transferred to the United States to support the international business practice of Moores Rowland, a mid-sized accounting firm. He later qualified as a CPA.
Mark is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management and WorldatWork. He is also a member of the small business advisory committee to the FASB and International Accounting Standards Board’s working group on small and medium sized businesses. He serves on the Board of Directors of the New York State Society of CPAs and was a taskforce member on a recent AICPA study on financial reporting for private companies.
Mark graduated from Bangor University in the United Kingdom where he majored in accounting and finance.
