Walter Jenkins, Senior Vice President
Walter “Walt” Jenkins, Senior Vice President at Michael C. Fina, is responsible for new recognition business development with respect to national accounts and large multi-national corporations. Since joining Michael C. Fina more than 19 years ago, Walt has been a catalyst in growing the organization into the second largest service recognition company in the industry.
Walt’s background in transportation, accounting, sales administration and field sales has given him the unique opportunity to look at the business from many angles -- not just from a sales perspective. He has played a key role in developing Michael C. Fina’s new business opportunities, training and mentoring sales representatives, as well as the recruitment and hiring of exceptional associates. Additionally, Walt has been instrumental in integrating and coordinating Michael C. Fina’s operations in the United Kingdom by seamlessly transitioning the company’s multi-national recognition business with existing customers. He is also responsible for new business development in the European market.
Walt’s complete understanding of the employee recognition business makes him a key component to the company. He was instrumental in helping change the culture in corporate America by introducing and selling Michael C. Fina’s industry-known “Magic Box” presentation concept for employee recognition. Walt also served as Vice President of Corporate Sales, where he developed operations and systems to support customers, initiated merchandising and procurement policies and practices that revolutionized the recognition gift selection process.
A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, Walt holds a bachelors degree in marketing. He also received a Certificate Award from The Academy of Transportation in New York. Walt is an active member of WorldatWork and SHRM.
