NEW YORK, NY (November 2, 2007) -- With a desire to help more than 785,000 people in the United States and Canada who have blood cancer, Michael C. Fina’s “Team Fina” participated in the Light the Night Walk sponsored by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Team Fina raised over $30,000 making them one of the top ten supporters in the state. All tax-deductible contributions made by the participating walkers were matched by Michael C. Fina dollar-for-dollar, increasing the total to over $60,000.
More than 100 employees and friends of the company participated in the October 13th walk that started at 7:00PM in Forest Park, Queens, NY.
“We were delighted to participate in the event to help the Society reach their goal of raising some $200,000 at Light the Night in Queens,” said Michael A.
